A business advice summary from what I am reading and learning
Business Advice Posts
Every working person needs business advice. Whether you are in a company, enterprise or start up you can learn from other peoples’ business advice. Now I am not saying I have the answers to everything. What I am saying is that when we learn from other peoples’ business advice then perhaps we get a ‘step up’. A free kick.
I read a lot and go to many seminars and conferences. Part of my entrepreneurial journey is learning from trial and error. There are so many things to learn. For me I write them here in a selection of blog posts so that I can maybe assist others on his or her leadership journey.
It will be difficult for me to know which, if any, of these posts will touch move and inspire you to be a better leader. The thing is with business advice, or any advice for that matter, it only works if you adapt it to your owner circumstances. There is no quick fix. There is no easy way.

Start Up businesses #ReadyToSoar: March
One of the great things about being a 'Shark' on Network TEN’s Shark Tank (returning soon) is that I get 'pitched' regularly - well maybe people are just sharing their fantastic ideas with me. One thing I can do is to support these businesses by letting other...
#TBT…Longing to belong
I wrote this post at the end of September 2014... and the core of what I wrote about still firmly holds true for me, especially having spent the first part of the week at Marcus Evans talking all things Redii and Recognition in the workplace - it is all still very...
The importance of peers, networks and ideas – for 2016
We are going nowhere fast if we do not surround ourselves with instrumental, successful, wise, courageous and inspiring people. How can we expect to challenge ourselves to greatness if we are only seeking advice from ourselves? (And maybe having some fun as we do.) At...
Innovation is not the idea…it is the ‘means’ to change the world
I find it fascinating that every meeting I have had recently keeps coming back to one central discussion point: the state of entrepreneurship in Australia. What are the stopping points for success and where are the opportunities to excel? I am having so many...
Standing out – is about the customer experience
These days, I am known to many simply as the #RedShark from Channel TEN’s Shark Tank Australia or ‘that lady in red,’ but being the Founding Director of RedBalloon did not mean I always wore red - nor infact is it my favourite colour. The question I often get is - how...

Here is a list of the teams that pitched. More information is available on the MAP website. · Hypetap is a platform that connects an invitation only network of agencies, brands and influencers to work on marketing campaigns together. A full suite of management...
