Business Model
Getting the Business Model right is about constant review
The ‘business model’ is about how money flows through the enterprise.
It is important to consider the right business model for the right business. Just because another business in the same industry operates in a certain way, this does not mean that it is the right way.
In this series of blogs we will discover how you can look at a different approach to your business model. For instance there may well be a lot to learn from businesses that operate in different industries.
It is worth taking the time to understand the drivers of a variety of business models. In my opinion this is critical for entrepreneurial and business success.
Some of the important questions to ask yourself: how does money move through your business? What capital is required? What is the life time value of a customer? Where do customers come from?
These are just some of the questions to consider when designing the right business model for your enterprise. Over the years running two sided market places I have learned to keep reviewing the model. Just because it worked when I started – does not mean that it will still work when the enterprise serves millions of customers.
