Setting Business Goals correctly, sets you up for success

Getting Business Goals right is fundamental to success.

Setting and achieving business goals is a critical element to leadership. Setting realistic business goals is equally important. I have heard people talk about ‘stretch goals’ but if they are never likely to be achieved then they are demotivating to everyone.

Part of the plan is goals. Part of business is the plan. I have found that when I make business goals visual people understand them (and remember them) better.

For instance – imagine what it will be like when we deliver an experience to the same number of people sitting in the MCG on grand final day. People understand this. They can see it and it is relatable. Business goal setting can be fun too.
