A SELECTION ON KPIs
Key Performance Indicators
We talk about them a lot in business Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
Time invested in KPIs could be the best hours you spend on your business.
I have found that the KPI – Key performance indicator is very important to a successful business. If you want to grow your business it is important to set these benchmarks. As they say ‘if you don’t know where you are going any road will get you there.”
It is worth taking the time to brainstorm and develop the right KPI to create your business success. I have often considered a KPI as a critical number. The number that you focus on to ensure that you align the team to what you are really trying to achieve. The critical number will drive behaviours and when achieved be the definition of business success.
Business performance, scorecards and dashboards are important reminders to everyone around that the KPI is the game at hand. In this series of posts I share what I have learned about using ‘the number’ to align every one in the team.
