Things to do in Perth
Perth: Way out west is experience central
There are so many great things to do in Perth. I only get there once or twice a year, but lucky for us one of our colleagues Dave lives and works there and he has been with the business for close to a decade – so we get the inside scoop on Perth.
I love Rottnest Island; riding bikes, sailing, kayaking. It’s one of the most special places in Australia. Perth is so far from anywhere, it is simply magical. I’ve also travelled down south to Margaret River where you can swim with the dolphins or experience culinary delights and delicious wineries.
Further north in Western Australia I have done some very special experiences: swimming with the whale sharks in Exmouth; kayaking the length of the Ningaloo Reef; and ‘glamping’ in the wilderness. And further north again, up in Broome, I’ve ridden camels; enjoyed live astronomy experiences; and ventured way into the outback for a 4x4 off-road safari camping trip.
There’s never a dull moment with all the expereinces to choose from out west – here are some of my favourites.
