Inspiration

Snow in the back country across the plains where the shapes of the faded vegetation are shadows in the new snow. Painted in 2008 after one of many trips to the High Country in Southern NSW Australia. Discovering the beauty in the slight variation of white, grey and rust. I wanted to hold on to the feeling of vastness after the never ending walks in Kosciuszko National Park
