Inspiration

Painted in Sydney NSW during the ‘stay at home’ period of early 2020. The sand, water and light creating colours that change.  I explore that moment of ‘explosion’ when the water meets the earth – and light dances across the sand. The spray, the colours how it constantly moves. This is really quite a bright painting – but there are subtle variations in colours. This is a large and dramatic painting… It consumed me.
