Last century my grandfather was an opera singer. As a small child he would take me to the Opera and I vividly remember one day as he whispered in my ear, “That could be you”.
Alas, my career has very much taken me elsewhere – but this experience has given me the opportunity to take to the stage in all its splendour and glamour. Now I get to fulfil my grandfather’s dream and be an opera singer (for a day). What an incredibly special and unique experience.
