Things to do in Melbourne
Melbourne: A city to fall in love with
I was born and bred in Melbourne and still visit the city regularly – there’s never a shortage of things to do in Melbourne.
Each time I go back I like to discover something new, so I’ve been on many different experiences in Melbourne over the years. A DC3 flight to King island; a helicopter to Levantine winery for a delicious degustation; a seaplane to Sorrento for lunch; a light plane from Moorabbin airport.
But I haven’t just experienced this vibrant city from the sky – I’ve done walking tours sampling everything from dumplings to coffee and chocolate, to Turkish delicacies and street art. I want to know the city inside out, and there’s no better way to enjoy it than in the streets and laneways. I’ve also put my creative self to work with a candlemaking course with my mother for Mother’s Day. I’ve sampled many dining experiences – from the meat lover’s experience, to the progressive dinner and a Thai degustation menu.
There are always so many more experiences to discover in this wonderful city – here are some of my favourites.
