Things to do in Canberra

Canberra: A forgotten gem

Looking for things to do in Canberra? Well, while I don’t get to Canberra often, when I do I always want to make the most of it. It is our nation’s capital, the centre stage, and it has experiences to match. But there is much more to Canberra than government buildings and galleries.

The city is a hive of activities – from hot air ballooning to getting behind the scenes with animals at the zoo. With the weather a little colder in winter there are loads of lovely gourmet delights to indulge in, not to mention vineyards close by.

It’s a city full of cultural experiences to dive into – here are some of my favourites.

The team at work surprised me with this one. What a sense of joy you get as the wind rushes past you. I can now tick skydiving off my list.
