I heard CEO of Life by Design, Ian Hutchinson speak on creating the life you want to live. He explored success and it’s definition.

The number one area where people feel that they don’t have control or balance in their lives – is not a lack of time, but a lack of clarity. What are our top personal priorities? If we are presented with a number of options on life priorities which of the following could you not live without. Which are the top three that you really want to work on.

Life Priorities

  • Health
  • Purposeful work
  • Love relationship
  • Family
  • Social
  • Spiritual
  • Contribution to Society
  • Creativity and Hobbies
  • Intellectual Growth
  • Financial

I know that every day I set what it is that I intend to get out of the day (very tactical and often work related). I also have a personal annual plan – which Peter (my husband) and I do every new years day. It is a long time between reviews.

I am taking on looking at personal priorities – in weekly and monthly increments not just once a year.
