The launch of this Trimesters theme was last Monday morning. It is all about growth. – We will celebrate when we achieve 54 by 24 –that is every RedBallooner will celebrate with an extra day of summer holidays with 250 points to have a fabulous experience on the day. Fun!

I had three speaking engagements last week – which meant lots of travel, from the Yarra Valley to Lorne in Victoria. (Lorne was looking spectacular – I have not been there for years).

Ended the week by meeting Dream Employer Salamat – and then hosting a fabulous RedBalloon Lunch & Learn with the Airport Economist himself – Tim Harcourt (chief economist at Austrade).

Coming Up This Week

Monday: One on One day with leaders – and visiting another Dream Employer – Getaway.

Tuesday: Filming of Kochie’s Business Builders at RedBalloon

Wednesday: Presentation at iStrategy event and RedBalloon for Corporate Sailing evening

Thursday: Hear CBA’s boss Ralph Noris speak at a breakfast, a Lunch & Learn at RedBalloon with Kristina Karlsson – from Kikki–K

Friday: RedBalloon grow learning event, volunteering at the Best Buddies day at Centennial Park, and the RedBalloon team Christmas event in the evening.

  • Being in retail for close to two decades has it's highs and lows. 
There is always the threat of competition (Is Amazon going to impact our business when it opens in Australia? Who knows...). The only constant in any retail business is change. 
I find this particularly scary — and nerve wracking. 
I wish I had a crystal ball. 
Trying to pick customer trends continues to be challenging. 
We have engaged the best of the best AI tool to assist in finding customers and helping them. 
But fear is a real emotion felt by many business owners at this time of year. 
Can I trust? I ask myself relentlessly... With 10 weeks to Christmas I feel I must do more to help predict... If I hear ‘consumer confidence is low’ one more time I will want to scream.

Today I must test it. 
I think if I give potential customers a rich offer — with no hidden strings (link in bio), I will see if we can pull some demand forward to let us predict the Christmas capacity we may need. 🎈🎈
