THIS COLLECTION IS ALL ABOUT
LESSON

Life Lessons are hard learned Here is a selection of some of mine
Life is full of Lessons; just some are more expensive than others.
As an entrepreneur, business owner and parent I seem to go from one life lesson to another. Every day life lessons present themselves. And some are really very powerful and I’d love others to learn from them.
Part of the business journey is about who you are as a person. I also consider that my ‘whole self’ comes to work. For me, I need to make sure that my whole life is connected.
I thought it was important to include many posts about these life lessons. As an entrepreneur, business owner, or a corporate leader you will have many competing priorities. In these pages you may well find some answers. Perhaps how I did it, or what I have learned from others will give you inspiration.
Have fun and explore these many posts. You may want to have a pen and paper by your side to jot down the life lessons that inspire you. You will definitely want to subscribe to my Monday Motivator Newsletter so that you can get a weekly dose of motivation.

The upside of having a parent who’s not there
Meaningful contribution at work Mother's Day last weekend made me ponder the concept of a meaningful contribution at work: how my mother contributed to who I am, how I contribute to my own children and also how I contribute to my business and my community. In speaking...

My advice? Create rhythm in your business and life
Rhythm in Business My husband (of five months) took me aside last week and said “I do know that this is just the way our life is - you are running a million miles an hour, committed to supporting business owners in their commercial success, but remember you can only...

This experiment – touched, moved and inspired me
Do you know people who seem to be grumpy every day? When my colleague Claire sent me the below video - it moved me. The simplicity of the message. It is absolutely worth a few moments to experience a wonderful source of happiness - that is available to the grumpiest...
