Success is in the eye of the beholder

I was asked to define success…This is what I came up with. How do you define success?

There are many things that make a successful business, and they don’t differ that much to those which make a successful life. Businesses are just made up of a bunch of people, all come together for a shared purpose, to make a difference to the world. In business it is not about what you know, or even who you know ? success comes from who you are. The underlying connectedness that is created between people when they have a shared vision, and shared values means that success comes from the harmony that is created. I measure success by how much fun can be had in a day, how many times I laughed out loud, and how many times a hug was shared.
