I like the idea of only turning email on twice a day. I admit, I&#039;m a victim to &quot;Oh, I got an email ... have to act on it right away&quot; syndrome. I think I&#039;ll try out the twice a day approach.

As for tips on staying focused, I spend a lot of time online with my SEO business. As you can imagine, there are distractions at every turn. So I keep a notepad on my desk. If I see something I want to revisit, I write it down and get back to what I was doing. Otherwise, I&#039;d spend my days wandering down unknown passageways!
